Senior shoot with DA football player Griffin. We had a great shoot and some awesome natural light to work with. The rain held off for our time, but the humid air was very much there! Check out these casual shots along with football pictures.

so far this spring this was the first full week of no rain and great tempts which made for a busy time. One of my shoots was a Senior Portrait session with Katie. We choose the Town Square of Springfield to get a little of the old town casual feel. I shot natural light, ambient plus a reflector and for some images I used a profoto 500 with a beauty dish and sock (care to guess how I lit each image?). As Always I used a Nikond5 and the lens were Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 and a Nikkor 85mm f1.8.
The sunny skies made Katies blonde hair pop and her natural beauty shine. We had a great time cruising the square and I think that comes out in her photographs.
There is no beating this heat! No matter how early we shoot, the July heat is here. Always fun shooting with this guy. He’s a great football player but also has found a new passion in golf. Timing was tricky but we got some amazing shots. Check them out
To end the shoot we went for some casual shots by the water.
Shooting in the heat! Almost 100 degrees it felt like, and no breeze. Except it didn't bother this guy. Camden’s senior pictures turned out great. As we started in the creek we took some casual pictures soaking in the coolness of the creek before we headed over to the tennis courts for some action shots. Yet another student athlete whose season got cut short.
A great senior session with the gorgeous Taylor Farmer. We have rescheduled this shoot probably four or five times due to weather. It was a little rainy earlier in the day but we waited it out and it brought us such a beautiful sunset. Taylor was a joy to work with, as always! Check out these pics.
Love these outtakes! Good luck in college Taylor! Congrats!
Unfortunately, prom was canceled this year due to COVID-19. I still wanted to do something for the girls who bought dresses that won’t be used this year. We took a group of senior reps to Springfield and had a blast. Check these out.
